Heat oven to 400 degrees. In an 8x11 glass baking dish melt 1/4 c. butter (in the oven).
In a blender, combine:
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 TBSP sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Blend on high for about 1-2 minutes. When butter is melted, pour batter in pan and bake for 20 minutes. Batter will creep up sides, souffle like, but not in the middle.
While dutch baby is baking, peel and pair about 4 apples. Melt 2 TBSP butter in saute pan. Over med. high heat add apples, 1/3 c. sugar and 1-2 tsp cinnamon. Cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
Remove pancake from oven and serve immediately with hot apples. Garnish with powdered sugar. Serves 4-6.
