I'm at the San Francisco Flower Mart right now using the new typepad app I got for my iPhone. I'm so excited to be an official flower mart wholesale badge holder! Yeah! I'm going to come up at 4:00 a.m. next week and try a dry run for Amys wedding. While I was shopping today I found this lovely topiary. Who in the heck buys things like this? Please comment.

Customize Me, Please

I wish I was 3 again. Then I could *itch and whine and complain whenever I want something. Doug, shut your mouth right now, I don't whine like a 3 year old (most of the time) unless I'm too hot, too cold, there is annoying white noise, I'm thirsty, I'm hungry or I'm tired. Senses working overtime, yep, all 5 of them.

I've been surfing other blogs this morning and guess what? I NEED a graphic designer! I want a custom header! Is that too much to ask? Since this is a creative outlet, after all, my blog should reflect my perky inner spirit. How the heck could I have chosen a templet???? So not me! While I was thrilled this morning to add a "where in the world" widget so ALL of my readers (yes, both of you) will be mapped! Genius! I crave custom fonts and colors and clean looking categories! Thinking of signing up for, holy canoli I can't believe I'm writing this, a blogging convention. Learning opportunity people!

During any given week, my second favorite day is Tuesday. Tuesday is new music Tuesday on iTunes. I get up a little early to listen to all of the new releases. Having said that, sometimes, I get bored on iTunes. In my quest for new music I found Calabash Music, a compilation of world music from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, etc. CONFESSION: I used to download free from Limewire, until I realized I could lose the house if the record industry ever came after my IP address. To that end I found Grooveshark, a completely legal, P2P music exchange where you earn credits for sharing your music, and the music industry gets their royalties for the charge that the uploader pays. Then, in my quest for a wider variety of I stumbled upon Stumbleupon where you can choose from any category of interest and surf the fringes of the internet. I find some of my best humor stuff there, check out Bradley from CA, he has a lot of funny stuff. For anyone looking to make a difference in the world with very little money, check out Kiva a microlending organization that funds independent businesses around the world! I love that $25 can make such a huge difference in helping eliminate poverty.

What, no cooking site?? Still in search of the a good blend of fab food that is at the same time creative and doesn't take itself too seriously. Love Epicurious.com can go back time after time for great recipes.
