As Peter Brady and the Brady Bunch so aptly sang..."When it's time to change, you've got to rearrange..." I've been contemplating a little change in the ol' workout routine. I LOVE to run, but truth of the matter is 4 years ago I had foot surgery that filled in with nerve tissue instead of bone and the fact of the matter is that I'm darn lucky that I've ran comfortably-(ish) since then. So, I've been thinking about swimming....
I've been pondering this idea in my head for about 9 months...have to wrap my head around fluttering about with a swimcap on ala Esther Williams. Contacts in eyes...hmmm. Highlighted hair turning green...hhmmm. Less wear and tear on the *ahem* aging body - hhmmm good. Stronger core and ripped arms...hmm v. good. White legs in bathing suit....hhmm aaaggghhh! Do you see my struggle? Maybe I just need to dive in, tread a little water.
What do you need to change? Change is good. Just think if the Beatles hadn't changed their style, if formica countertops were still fashionable, if the Pinto was still a cool car. Where would we be???
change is good.......shows your versatile..a good thing

Sometimes its all gotta change & counting on it is the only constant we have. I am pro-change for sure, but I am still going to want to go in a nice long run with you when I come home for the holidays!;)
