Life is what happens while life is happening. To say this week has been chaotic is an understatement. My hat's off to all the single ladies who are out there bustin' bootie, working and have kids. While I'm quite sure if my hours were consistent I'd be quite organized and fall into a routine that seems normal, yeah, I'm NOT there! My kids are used to having me at their beck and call. I'm sure if I gave them a bell they'd ring it. So trying to concentrate on something as tedious as creating a website while your precious little gift from God is saying, "Mom, mom, mommommom" is nothing short of nerve wracking. So, as to avoid interruptions and eruptions that occur when life slips out of the norm, you stay up extra late. The kind of late that leaves you feeling as fresh and perky as a 7 day old Gerber Daisy. Let's add redecorating to the mix, shall we? Painting the girls room and reorganizing at the time of said work is probably not the swiftest move I've ever made.
All said, I joyously received my first order today. Yup everything worked. For about 5 hours. And then, nothin'. Better yet, the site builder I used must have only 3 employees all based out of a call center of Bombay. Probably out dancing and don't see my 911 page. Other than that you get an email with a ticket order number that I can only hope gets an automated answer in 2 days. And that 2 day thing is a perk because I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER! Heeelllloooooo? I feel more left behind than Tom Hanks in Castaway. At least he had Wilson...
So as humbling as all this is, I'm going to take a chance that my good fortune will return.:) Below are the arrangements that I am offering for Valentine's Day. I'm surrendering this one (to God). If I have a miracle in the morning, game on. If not, I will wait anxiously to see what's around the corner next.
